Absence Note

In order to properly document absences that should be excused, please click “Absence Note” below to provide details concerning your child’s absence from school.

Understanding the landscape of Special Education programming can be challenging. We have compiled a variety of resources including parent training videos, articles, podcasts, and other resources to help support your child at home and in school.

Special Education Resources

Transportation

Bus transportation will not be provided at this time because we are in a fully remote model. Typically, CCSA students use the bus routes provided by the Chester Upland School District. Drop-off and pick-up are in front of the school, on Highland Avenue. The school parking lot is accessible from Township Line Road.

Uniforms

Due to the remote learning format, uniforms are not required at this time. There are expectations for virtual attire which can be found in the handbook. Typically, uniforms may be ordered and purchased at Clothes Quarters. Ask about the rewards program!

Supply Lists

Due to remote learning, we DO NOT have mandatory supply lists at this time. CCSA will be providing each student with a bookbag and some basic supplies for at-home learning. The supply lists from 2019-20 are available for your reference.

Family & Student Handbook

We expect members of our community to help maintain a safe, nurturing school environment. The policies and procedures presented in the Handbook relate to this and to other goals critical to your child’s success at CCSA.

Families and students should review the Handbook each year.

Handbook for 2020/21

Food & Nutrition

CCSA partners with Lintons Nutrition Services to make fresh nutritious breakfasts and lunches available to our students, even during remote learning. Meals wil be available for pick up at CCSA.

Title I Information

Chester Charter Scholars Academy is obligated to provide these documents because it receives Title I federal funding.
